$250 OBO Home built outboard diesel heater in a weather proof box. Built around Vevor 5 kilowatt diesel heater. This heater puts out way more than I expected. Too big for the trailer shown. Could easily keep a two car garage or small shop room temp while -20 C outside. Heater runs on 12 volt DC. Home and shop AC to DC power supply installed to eliminate battery. Just plug in to any AC wall outlet and good to go. Furnace filter installed over intake. Heater runs for about 24 hours on a full tank of diesel using lowest power 1. Highest power 10. Includes all shown in pic, insulated 3 inch duct, hardware to mount in window or hole in a wall as shown, 10 liter plastic gerry can for diesel with D cell powered siphon pump (not shown). Battery and AC powered Carbon Monoxide detector included. Home made extension to controller also included. Controller is normally fixed on Vevor unit with two modes, power level and thermostat. Manual power level Off and 1 to 10. On thermostat it runs on 1 until triggered, then it cranks to 10 until thermostat setting is reached, then back to 1. Never shuts off or runs below 1, about 500 watts. Bluetooth capable supposedly, but never tried that. Exhaust temperature of heated air is around 450 F. Potential uses include, heating a large oven to roast a pig or a dozen chickens, dehydrate vegetables and fruit in a large shed, dry grain in the granary, thaw out frozen vehicles and equipment at -40 C, de-ice surfaces and riggings including sidewalks with a longer hose, keep a large tent or pavilion warm in cool weather, heat a dry heat sauna, where ever your imagination would let you apply a large portable very dry heat source. Ha ha ha... It sounds like the Bat Mobile when it's firing up.
